    On one of the most commercial streets in Paris, rue Saint-Lazare, Maurice Grosman, and his wife choose to open a women's ready- to-wear boutique, CLEO 3000

    Cleo becomes Celio

    The founders decided to change the target audience and focus on men's clothes, and hence ‘Cleo became Celio’ a name that sounded both masculine and Italian.

    Expansion and Innovations

    A second store was opened in the same street, & immediately after 3 other shops were opened in Paris. Feeling that the trend was towards a more casual and sportswear style, they then offered new and unseen products, upto 15 colors and presented them in a simple and innovative way.

    Rapid Growth and Development

    The success of the brand, made Celio extend over the years in France. Celio made the choice to establish stores in malls and city centers. A winning bet for the company; Then Celio began to expand abroad : first in Belgium, Italy and Spain, celio developed quickly its vision of men's fashion. Above europeans subsidiaries, the brand kept expanding by integrating a large network of affiliated stores and franchisees.

    Birth of CELIOCLUB

    While Celio had more than 300 stores in France and more than 600 in the world, the brand expanded its vision of fashion to a more urbanised and formal line : CELIOCLUB was born.

    Celio takes an important international step by setting up in India. A country that now has more than 700 points of sale.

    The milestone of the thousandth store was crossed in 2011, Celio ventured into SHOES & ACCESSORIES.

    Celio launches the CLICK & COLLECT An in-store e-booking service allowing customers to pick up in-store items set aside in 30 minutes.

    Celio innovates with 2 connected pop-up stores
in two trendy districts of Paris. Store to Web Development Development of the store-to-web, allowing the customer to access the entire celio offer and available stock, from any point of sale.

    This one of a kind concept store is inspired by the Parisian design values of the brand. The store is aesthetically designed using minimalistic settings using Metal and Wood for major fittings and fixtures.
